In November I went to NYC with Will to cheer my sister on while she ran the New York Marathon. She did awesome!! I was so proud of her. We stayed in NYC for about a week and did so much! It was my second time, but Will had never been, so I had fun showing him around and acting like a tour guide. We actually had a few celebrity encounters. The first was Mario Lopez filming in the street for his show Extra. Shortly after I waited in a small crowd for Robert Pattinson to arrive at the David Letterman show. I am a huge fan of his!! When he showed up it was chaos, but I managed to get his autograph and a picture!
We also saw Alec Baldwin as he was filming for 30 Rock, were on a small segment of the Today Show with Kathie Lee Gifford, and went to a monologue practice and broadcast for the Jimmy Fallon show. Phew! That's a lot of famous people! I also was able to meet two friends Lorin and Cassie. Cassie was working as a stage manager for Silence! The Musical and gave us two tickets to see it. It was so funny! We also had a great time exploring the city and hanging out with my sister, her husband and their friends. Overall it was an amazing trip and I can't wait to go back again!
This summer Will will begin his new job and I will be completing an internship. We have decided to move to the Kansas City area. We both like the area and think it will be a good place to start our careers. Currently I'm looking for an internship in the interior design field, and I can't wait to get started! I went to a Career Day event last week in Lincoln, Nebraska and was exposed to so many different areas of interior design. I have enjoyed my education in interior design, but I am really looking forward to learning in the field.
Phew! Lots of big changes happening soon, but I am ready! Can't wait to start the next chapter of my life!!
